All Hail the iPod

After Mr. Jobs unveiled the new line of Apple iPods yesterday live, infront of millions of viewers, stock holders, and employees. By now you should know that the Apple iPod is not dead, in fact it has been reborn in a since and will be made available in time for the holildays (go figure).
I'm thinking they will see an increase in revenue which will probably push the iPod back up as the best selling product proudly boasting the the Apple logo, not to mention the perk of totally being detached from AT&T. However, it does look like Apple may phase out the iPod Classic, unless they are saving the best for last. If you ask me, the Classic is still a great product for those that want a simple iPod music player.
The New Apple iPod Lineup
With the new line of iPod Touch, coming this holiday season, here is a list of newly added features, old, and transferring customers.
The New Apple iPod Touch
New iPod Touch - With 50% market share and dominating known hand-held gaming systems the iPod Touch is still a remarkable iPhone minus the AT&T headache.
In fact, it comes complete with the front facing camera, FaceTime between iPods and iPhones, HD video recording with on-device editing and easy web uploading, 40 hours of music playback, new Apple Game Center, Apple iOS4 and many more - so get excited.
Now that the new generation iPod Touch is so similiar to the iPhone 4, will Apple eventually phase out it's relationship with buzz kill AT&T? Especially now that new iPod Touch comes with FaceTime, which will allow you to communicate with iPhone owners and other iPod Touch owners.
The New Apple iPod Shuffle
New iPod Shuffle - Smaller than the recent generations, now with buttons for easy playlist navigation, Genius mixes, VoiceOver - so it still talks to you, and now equipped with 15 hours of music with multiple playlists capabilities.
Just when it couldn't get better, the iPod Shuffle speaks to you in 25 different languages, 2GB flash hard drive, and still available in the wonderful array of colors for your delight when it hits the market this holiday season. Eexpect to pay a comfortable $45, the perfect affordable gift.
The New Apple iPod Nano
New iPod Nano - Again, a smaller device minus the click wheel, with a 1.54 inch TFT color display with multi-touch (same touch technology as the iPhone & iPod Touch), 240 by 240 pixel resolution with 220 pixels per inch, .
The Nano is now 46% smaller and 42% lighter, making it about the size of a shuffle, but more equipped. Fm radio with Live Pause, VoiceOver, Nike fitness, works in 29 different languages, 24 hour audio playback, equipped with a new clip - no need for armbands - move with ease. Available in 8GB and 16GB flash hard drive.
The popular iPod (PRODUCT) red is still available.
If you are not a Mac fan, you should jump on the wagon and ride the wave while Steve Jobs is still on board. They continue to set trends and blow their competitors out of the water. I am an Apple fan.
